Compatibility problem with some cards, such as

Does not work on VmWare with HP 560SF card (detected and connected, but works intermittently). (The card is recognized by VMware as Intel Corporation 82599EB) Works well on Mikrotik CSR326 Just a compatibility issue, seems to be related to the card but notice depends on your hardware

Working with CRS305-1G-4S+IN on QNAP NAS

I tested them with a Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN connected to a QNAP TS-932PX NAS using a RevainBasics OM3 cable โ€“ connected in hot mode , and all worked straight to work. No issues at all and will likely buy more for similar uses.
