🔧 Fieldpiece SC260: Enhanced Accuracy with True RMS Capability in Clamp Multimeter Review

Continuity doesn't always sound through closed switches as there isn't enough battery left so I use my giant Fluke brick for safe grinding but other than that this meter is perfect for almost any job. Love the magnet on the back and the simplicity. My favorite multimeter to be honest. Especially for air conditioning.

good meter sourced from an older, larger (sc68 i think?) all I have to do is the smaller package is easier to use the PITA- Sensors, there's no cutout on the back of the meter to store them like my old meter had, and I'm not a fan of removing the probes to use the K thermocouple. It should have been a separate CKT

I use this meter primarily for HVAC but also for general residential electrical work. It's just a very easy to use gauge. The magnet on the back is great. Every counter should have a magnet, but many expensive counters don't have one. It's also very compact, which comes in handy when living in a tool bag. For an everyday meter, this is the best I've ever had. It does everything 95% of people should do with a multimeter. Costs money!

I love this Fieldpiece gauge. I had the last one for over 3 years before the amp clamp finally stopped working properly. Everything else on the meter still works great, but I need an amplifier clamp in the HVAC section. So I bought another one of these measuring devices and am very satisfied. They are very accurate and stay accurate. 3 years of rough use from another and the only reason I replaced was because the amplifier clamp had failed. The meter still shows exactly as new.
