The reverse osmosis technology used in the Geyser Prestige Smart filter consists in filtering water through a semi-permeable membrane. The pores of the membrane are so small that only water molecules pass through. The size of the molecules of most impurities, as well as bacteria and viruses, is much larger than water molecules, so they do not pass through the membrane. The system operates at a pressure in the supply line of at least 3 atm. The Bascon mineralization technology developed by Geyser allows you to get clean and healthy water saturated with minerals (potassium, magnesium, calcium). Purified water has a balanced mineral composition.

When connecting the drain tube to the siphon in front of the flask, there will be a sound of constantly dripping water. The speed of filling a full tank at a pressure of 4-5 atmospheres is about 2 hours. To taste, water sometimes turns out with a slight bitterness, apparently due to mineralization. Draining water into the sewer is a feature of this type of filter, you need to get used to this "not economical" use like an open faucet in the bathroom when brushing your teeth.

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

The worst purchase in my life, dont repeat my mistake

I connected it in the country, the pressure is 3.5 atm, the water does not flow. All night the drain gurgled into the drain, not a drop of water. I thought filters. All changed to new ones. Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I installed it myself in less than an hour. The instruction is excellent, everything is simple and clear. I have water from a well with high hardness, after installation everything became normal. For the manufacturer, it would be nice to provide in some of the models the possibility of mixing unfiltered water to the outlet - for example, 5% of the original amount.
