💧 Filtrete Whole House Water Filter System 4WH-QS-S01 Review

After many hours of installation the product could not leak anymore. The system had to be replaced at the expense of the owner. Complete waste.

Has worked great for 2 months. I use well water and that was my pre-filter before my softener. Removes the smell of sulfur and improves the taste, but quickly clogs. I'm switching to a Rusco 1.5-200SS sediment filter and a 20" RFC20-BB to maintain the flow rate and hopefully remove the sulfur.

I have a lot of rust in my plumbing system and after seven months with this new system it seems to be handling the rust without losing water pressure. I haven't had a filter in a year, but I'm getting better results than my previous whole house system where I had to change filters frequently.

I liked it when I first installed it. You would immediately notice a huge difference in the quality and taste of the water in my home. The problem is that the filters that were supposed to last 12 months only lasted about 4 months in my house. The running costs were ridiculous! I switched to a system with cheaper filters. I have to change them more often, but I don't pay $50 or more every time.
