Counterfeit Product

I must have received a counterfeit product. The filter doesn't look like it does in the picture. Charcoal was scattered loosely on the filter, most of it fell off. There is no 3M label on the product. I have other 3M filters and the design of this filter is obviously inferior. Not worth $32 for two filters

Not in individual packaging.

Not individually wrapped rendering the charcoal function useless. Each activated charcoal product must be individually wrapped to be effective as it decomposes in air. Useless in this crowd unless you change 6 filters at once. And of course they arrive broken via UPS, but isn't that normal?

All of our friends and relatives love these filters. Buster and I want you to go.

I'm single. i live with my dog We're both old farts with our own habits. We are very lazy. We have very strange smells, smells of old people. Our house smells exactly how you imagine it. These filters have changed our lives. Friends and relatives really come to visit now. We are very upset. Damn filters.

Limited airflow from the vents.

That would probably be good for the house but in my apartment it severely restricted the airflow in my air conditioner. They did a great job of keeping odors at bay, but we installed them over the summer and there was very little air coming out of the living room vents. We thought something was wrong with the air conditioning until I realized that every time my husband opened the filtered door I could feel cold air rushing through the vents again.

Deforms with use

Other 3M filters I have purchased have metal meshes on both sides of the filter. This one only has a metal grille on one side, which exacerbates this problem. The filter lost its shape and became so bulky when installed that it was difficult to remove. It went in a 1" slit but came out maybe 2 1/2" thick. Almost cost me a new oven

Can't say I didn't like the filter but it's very restrictive. After installing these filters I started having problems with my oven. A week ago my oven switched itself off spontaneously and did a reset. I changed the thermostat, I thought that was the problem. It won't fix it. A few days ago the oven went out and won't come on again. I was at work so my wife called Air Comfort Solutions (at OKC) to try and get it working.
