Limited airflow from the vents.
That would probably be good for the house but in my apartment it severely restricted the airflow in my air conditioner. They did a great job of keeping odors at bay, but we installed them over the summer and there was very little air coming out of the living room vents. We thought something was wrong with the air conditioning until I realized that every time my husband opened the filtered door I could feel cold air rushing through the vents again.
