Description of Findmall Blocks 0 0001 Precision Plastic

Blocks - 23 holes with 5 holes tap to 3/8-16 threads for clamping and 18 untapped holes. Material - Made of hardened tool steel and precision ground on all six sides; Heat treat and hardness 56 to 60 RC. Precision - Size within +/- .0001; Flatness and parallelism within .0001; Squareness on all sides is 0.0003 per inch. Feature - Cross drilling design allows efficient use of lower weight with maximum strength. Application - Used for set-up, layout and inspection jobs.

Great product

Have wanted these for a long time - For use with chop saw and table saw for accurate blade alignment - Wish they had come with set screws.

Not quite what I expected

They expect block 1, 2, 3 to be cut and drilled so all holes are tapped. NOT CORRECT! It is not possible to connect two blocks.! So many

Blocks are precision ground - screw holes do not line up exactly

You cannot screw all 5 screws into both blocks at the same time (4 screws only). The bolts go through the individual blocks without any problems. When connecting both blocks with screws, the thread pushes the blocks apart. Daylight visible between blocks, approximately 2/32".
