Description of Slice 10537-CS Safety Blade for Seam Ripper – Never-Rusting, Durable & Finger-Friendly – Lasts 11x 🔪 Longer Than Steel – Pointed Tip – Fits Seam Rippers and Craft Handles – Pack of 24

Slice safety blades' Unique cutting edge might seem Dull, but it cuts right through your thread while keeping you safe! Slice blades are finger-friendly and safe to the touch. Other blades are dangerously sharp. Slice blades start at a safe and effective sharpness and stay there 11 times longer. 10537 blade fits in different handles made by Slice. These include seam rippers, craft Cutters and the precision knife. Choose the handle that fits your needs. All are ambidextrous and ergonomic. Sturdy advanced ceramic blade easily cuts through thread without tugging at the surrounding fabric, even when it’s delicate fabric. Smooth blade easily slides between very small stitches. To guard against accidental punctures and for larger stitches, Try the rounded-tip version, 10536.

Not worth the price tag

When I tried this product for my Arts and Crafts project, I found myself disappointed. The handle was comfortable to hold, but unfortunately, it did not perform as expected. It barely made a dent in the material I was using, leaving me frustrated and wishing I had invested in a different brand. The price is simply too high for a tool that doesn't deliver.

Pros
  • Comfortable handle
Cons
  • Poor performance, high price

Not what I was looking for

The sharpness of blades with rounded ends is not particularly impressive. Difficult to maneuver under a seam, requires 2-3 times more force (compared to metal blades) when cutting threads. Not a good price for me, they may last longer but if they don't work well then there's no point.

Pros
  • Blade 10537 fits various Slice handles. These include seam rippers, craft cutters and precision knives. Choose the grip that suits your needs. All of them are symmetrical and ergonomic.
Cons
  • disappears

This tip, 10537, has a sharper point than the 10536 blade that comes with the Slice handle. The original round-tipped blade is too rounded to fit through all but the biggest stitches, but you'll have a hard time finding a way to draw blood or cut through fabric. The blade of 10537 is sharp enough to go through most stabs, but sharp enough to stab yourself while working on it. 10537 is not as sharp as the terribly sharp "surgical" suture ripper, which has a razor-sharp surgical steel blade that…

Pros
  • Safety Cutting Blades The unique blade may look blunt, but cuts through the thread for your safety! Slice blades are finger-friendly and feel secure.
Cons
  • Can't remember
