I like the colour, the material and the large, easily recognizable numbering. However, I don't like the magnetic closure at all as it makes it harder to open the lid to place it on the clubface. I think they would work fine without magnets. I don't think I will buy these cases again as they wear out over time.

Hats have a bad reputation but I had to buy them to protect my Mizuno MP20 irons. Little did I know I would have to fight with the ladies left and right. There's something about a man in bright red hats that makes a woman work. Built-in magnets keep the lids securely in place - a nice touch.

I like iron caps because they do more than just protect clubs and prevent chatter. I wanted to switch to magnetic because it works so well with club caps. A problem with magnetic velcro: When putting cases on, the magnet tends to close or stick to the racquet. A small problem, but not with velcro, there is something to consider. All in all the best head cases EVERYWHERE. You cannot lose it unless you take it out or throw it away. They hold onto irons ten times better than any velcro covers. And they look great, are well padded and overall they are the best I've ever owned or seen. spend an extra second or two putting them on. AND IT'S WORTH IT.

I have a rare almost new set of Ben Hogan Apex irons, 1999, made in Japan. Instead of leaving them in the corner and never enjoying them, I decided to buy the cases. I have a few others that I use to transport irons, but I know they aren't made for field use. They are great and I love the cover. Ideal for small golf courses with night golf and strong magnets. I like having numbers on both sides but the magnets allow you to put the stick back into the case with two hands - one hand has to open the magnets and the other holds the cover. then you can reset the racket. You can't just put the racket back in like most covers do. I could get used to it, but it's an extra step and takes time. I found that disappointing. This is not the reason for the bad rating. At a great price it would be foolish to go any other way. Faux leather is soft and high quality. The magnetic clips work great but the velcro does not which is good as they are not needed and they make removing the cases quick and easy. After a few weeks with these clubs I can tell you that no matter how deep the beer I will not leave the wedges on the green, panic and slow down the game by chasing to the last hole or running back.
