My 2 year old daughter liked it but quickly lost interest. At her age, or at any age, she can do little to change that. Batteries drain quite quickly, even in standby mode. Not as annoying as the unicorn my 4 year old daughter got.

Preserved theses for great-grandchildren (3,4,7,10). All children love them and immediately knew what they are and how they work. I tried to get them for Christmas but I was late with the order. After Christmas, however, they were cheaper and arrived faster.

My niece wrote a real review after playing with it. The only way I approach it is that I got what I ordered for her, it's well packaged, the quality seems acceptable, it's not as small as a lot of those finger toys and it looks cute, colorful and inviting . I just hope it isn't so loud interactively that it drives my niece's mom crazy! The price of this particular product was a good deal compared to similar items, although it can change over time.

Firstly, this item is adorable. My little son loves stuff like this so we bought it as a birthday gift. We open the box, he's really happy, but it doesn't work. We've tried turning the switch off and on again as we've seen online, but it still doesn't work. There were 4 batteries in the kit but either they sat down or the thing broke. We just tried changing the batteries but nothing. He only likes it as a toy - again it's very cute - but we definitely didn't get what we paid for.

I'm giving 1 star because: A: My niece loves it even though it doesn't work and B: I can't give less. Given as a birthday gift, batteries don't work, wanted to buy new ones, $10 per battery x 4 batteries = $40 + tax. I didn't buy them, I'll see if they are smaller in the big box store.
