🔥 Firestone 6401 Air Bag Replacement for Enhanced Performance and Durability Review

Could not retain air due to defect. Air leaked from the cork at the top of the bag. Firestone was difficult to work with and did not live up to its lifetime warranty. Still within the return window so I sent it back to Revane.

Used on a 2005 f350, lasted 6 months, now won't last Firestone air contact who has a lifetime warranty on these bags, It is a month has passed since they deflated, still no replacement bag

I just replaced bags on my truck with everything else. The bags were pretty easy to remove and replace the old ones. So far they hold their breath and work great. Make sure you keep the pressure on them or they'll die an early death from the crushing weight. Good product!

Top lock nut and bottom lock screw not included. Such items only cost a penny and the original items will rust, but you are forced to reuse the original items because they do not come with the airbag unit. It makes no sense for the seller/carrier to exclude those 2 items required to fit a replacement airbag.

The set was bought poorly on May 26th, fitted and the top came off on the first ride. All the air leaked out of the crack so on June 15th I had to buy 1 airbag for $137.69. And then, in July, the same thing happened to the tit again. So you're not strong enough. Now it has happened twice. The same identical thing.

Yes expensive but factory material was what I needed and it was delivered to the nearest location, an hour's work and we were on our way! The airbag system was dual fitted on my Dodge 3500 and the black and white ball mounting bracket on the flex neck had a sharp corner on the mounting strap that cut into the other airbag, no airbag problem, had to grind down the corner and now the bag doesn't touch the sharp one Corner of the hitch bracket.

I hate the design on the top plate that attaches to the airbag. If it ever shifts or moves with a load on you the top downward pressure will move the locating pin down breaking the seal and you will not have an airbag, in which case the manufacturer will not be covered by the warranty. Which he did by pulling my fifth wheel 500 miles from home. This is a design flaw and they should be held accountable.
