The price is great! fits shocks, struts and suspension

Installed this weekend on my 1991 Ford F-150. This model fits my truck perfectly. My truck looks great after installing the bags. Can't wait to try them out this weekend. Planned to tow a 20ft RV, a 220 bayou on a platform, 2 kayaks and a play buggy on a truck shed/wood frame; a small generator, water, petrol, firewood and other hunting gear. 4 stars so far, we'll see.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Make sure which kit is suitable for your truck.

Kit worked I accidentally ordered this W21-760-2071 kit for my 1997 Dodge 2500 and it is an 8800# GVWR, it had overdrive springs. This kit will not work with overload springs. It was my fault and I got them working, but be sure to check your specific application and call if necessary. Been there before, impressed with them so far, will buy again if the need ever arises.

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Minor issues

Expect major changes.

We are a professional manufacturer and have installed RideRite kits in the past. They've never been great, but this kit is beyond bad. Cheap hardware store parts coupled with a generic kit that requires HEAVY modifications to fit a 2001 F250. You might as well buy airbags and make brackets. Either way, you'll need a decent shop to get this kit working.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Low repairability

What are you waiting for? Buy it!

I've been using them for years, they're on all my trucks. I only use the Firestone Ride Rite, I've had the kit on a SRW panel van for 15 years, never had any problems and it does an excellent job of compensating for the extra body weight. They were mounted on a 98 Ram 2500 2wd long platform diesel engine. Took about 2 hours and 6 bottles of beers. Very easy to install, I usually keep 25 pound bags or so and will add more as I go towing or towing. They are the best addition to any truck.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not sure

Disappointed with my overall cost for a 20 year vehicle claim

After doing more research than I needed I decided to use these bags instead of others. read and heard great things. I received the set pretty quickly. the instructions were almost more confusing than without them, but all said and done. looks great. LOOKS. One side keeps shifting and not holding air properly. I checked everything, tracked everything. and everything can be completed. bad bags. So now I either have to take the time to take everything apart, send them back and probably wait for aโ€ฆ

Man that bottom bracket hardware sucks, too long for my app and took time.

Frame mounts and cylinder are solid, man the bottom bracket is crap, way too long for my application and the nuts take forever to tighten with bolts, almost look like they're clogged. Eventually I got fed up and I brought my air cutter to them. I went to a hardware store and bought some 8 5" 3/8" nuts and bolts. I'm not too keen on trying to grab hardware, although I made sure I had square cuts from those If one is leaking I would prefer a shredder with a threaded valve for the top of the bagโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for the outdoors
Cons
  • unreliable

Mounted on Ram 2500 4x4 Long Platform Ext Cab 5.9 Cummins 1996. My truck is fitted with a gooseneck in the hitch. I had to remove the extension on the driver's side, but the hitch can still be used. I just have to get under the truck to move the locking mechanism. Not so much as there is enough space underneath to crawl. I also had to remove the inner wheel arch plastic to install them. Okay, now the comments on the bags. The box was found with a huge crack. and during installation i noticedโ€ฆ
