A little more erratic.

Installation was very easy. The pockets work fine. The only thing I didn't like was that the bags fell apart, they were thicker than the original bumpers on my 2007 Tacoma Xrunner. So if I just pump 15 pounds of air into them, they go down pretty easily. Remember this is a heavy duty truck. Tool parts shelf. The photo shows a truck with 40-pound airbags.

Tacoma Airbag Parts

FIRESTONE kit is easy to fit but most fittings have been replaced due to factory leaks; with plastic ferrule and brass ETC tee now, NO leaks. {ALSO added a tee and installed an air sensor to view, 18psi seems best with no load} The product is VERY good but does not improve the ride and seems to give more road feel which is usually perceived by bumps. RIDE HARD! But no more sagging cheap TOYOTA steel leaf springs. There has to be a better answer somewhere?

Cons
  • Flimsy

Fits Toyota X-Runner

I fitted this kit to my 2007 Toyota X-Runner to reduce rear sag when towing a boat or loading heavy items onto a truck. I connected this system to an Airlift 72000 wireless compressor system. Everything is working fine! The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because the truck is about 1/2 to 1 inch larger with the required 5psi pressure in the pockets. But it runs best at 7-10 psi (no load), which allows the truck to sit even higher. Since the X-Runner is a sport truck, I was hoping it would be…
