This is a very good replacement for the original basket in my dishwasher. Just the right size for Maytag and a much better price than the manufacturer's replacement basket.

Works great and gives me that extra space to keep the cutlery I need in my dishwasher. We go through cutlery much faster than crockery. It fits perfectly in the bottom drawer. I would recommend this to everyone.

This basket fits perfectly in my Kenmore dishwasher; and the price is fantastic! Why only 3 stars? The picture shows a pure white basket, which is what I expected. What I received was a putty/light gray basket. Needless to say I was disappointed as not only do I love all things white but I needed pure white to match the interior of my dishwasher. If you don't mind switching colors, I highly recommend it!

We had to buy replacements for them almost every year because the bottom fins kept breaking. The ribs on the bottom of this brand are thicker than replacements we've bought in the past so I hope they last longer. Update 05/31/19: The lower ribs seem to crack after about a year. too much of. So similar to other brands. I buy new ones every year because they still offer the best price. But they really should be built to last.

The biggest flaw I find with this basket is that the bottom can easily be cut with knives and then the knives and tines on the forks slip between the meshes. The person loading the basket sometimes forgets to turn the knife blades upside down. When sharp knives cut through the bottom of the basket, the cutlery falls into the dishwasher. If the blades are turned up, the person unloading the dishwasher could get a nasty cut on their arm. I think the basket should be made of a more durable…
