Great Cutting Tool for Arts and Crafts

I purchased this cutting tool for my quilting and scrapbooking projects and it has not disappointed! It cuts clean and precise lines every time, making my crafting process quick and easy. The ruler guide is helpful for accurate measuring and the easy-grip handle makes it comfortable to use for extended periods of time. The only downside is that it can be a little difficult to store due to its size. Overall, highly recommend!

Pros
  • Self-healing cutting mat, durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • May show visible cuts after frequent use

Not quite self-healing

I bought this mat as being self-healing but it is not. I've had self-healing mats that you could cut yourself on without seeing or feeling any signs of a cut. When you use this mat you can see and feel the incision. When the blade touches the previous cut at a slight angle, it tends to deviate from the intended cut. In addition, this rug is hard and does not lie completely flat. If you're looking for a true self-healing mat, this isn't it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

I didn't realize it was just a clear plastic cutting mat that looked like a plastic cutting board which might be my own fault but based on the description and the picture I thought it was larger than a soft gray cutting mat , but I think this might be a picture of a clear cutting mat, I haven't tried it yet to see if it can be cut on it with an Xacto knife or a slicer

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
