Fiskars 12X18 Eco Cutting 01 005899 Review

One star for this cheap sticker that ruins everything for me. I have a lot of Fiskars gear and am amazed at the use of this type of decal. They might think it's just a cutting mat and the little scraps of paper and glue are just for "crafting", but now I need to give it a good clean.

I'm not sure I'll order this again. It's very heavy and not very comfortable to work with when you have to move, measure and cut a lot. I've only had it for a few months, but it won't last long. It arrived damaged. The packaging is very poorly done. They tried to return it but they don't want to return or exchange it. I do not recommend this product.

I was concerned about ordering this cutting mat as I bought the same brand at my local fabric store which I sent back due to the strong smell that wouldn't go away. Thank goodness Revain offers an opportunity to ask questions of fellow buyers - as others have confirmed this cutting mat is odorless I ordered it and am glad I did. I have always relied on Fiskars to deliver a quality product but this is not one of them. I bought this rug to have with me while sewing so I can cut fabric and seams without having to go to the cutting table. In the first few weeks I noticed the numbers and grid lines disappearing.
