The perfection of precision!

Fiskars is back in business! This is the most versatile micro blade I've found; and I buy scissors like other sweets! It's a lot more comfortable than it looks and the blade is very sharp. You must be careful when cutting, pulling the straight edge of the blade towards you. If you turn around and try to cut backwards (the tip is grabbing you), the blade may move. It rotates easily, that's just something to keep in mind! Good product!

Great little tool for the price

However this handy little tool works great; If the price for it was much more I couldn't give 5 stars. I just wish it was "sturdier", meaning heavier, with better handling. However: At $3.00 to $6.00 I can't complain. Thoughts: I wish the blade could rotate a little. There are two channels under the threaded ring that help keep the detachable blade in place. In addition to the channels that hold the blade at a 90 degree angle, I wish there was another set…

 • Kraft
Cons
 • Could have chosen a newer model

I've been modeling for decades. A few years ago I spent several hours carving the details of a small HO scale clapboard structure using methods pioneered by George Sellios of Fine Scale Miniatures. I even added nail holes with a needle. Not long after, I saw an ink pen meant for people with arthritis. I immediately saw the possibility of adapting it to a sculpting knife, but I couldn't bring myself to "borrow" this handle from my elderly mother with arthritis, even though she offered to give it
