Item sent in a different color than pictured

Item pictured was not the item delivered, we specifically selected this item on color and safety as Res is my son's favorite colour and we didn't get it. Disappointed kid, I would have sent them back but we waited a few days to do the project and we needed them. Except for the color, the scissors were ok.

Pros
  • Blunt tips for added safety in children's hands
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Solid children's scissors.

These are sturdy scissors for beginners and my 3 year old is easy to use. It is possible to cut anything other than paper, but not very easy. However, they're sharp enough to cut through paper with ease, which other brands can't, and can be quite frustrating for those learning to cut. The spring return mechanism is useful too and can be turned off if you don't want to use it.

Pros
  • Blunt, safety blades only cut paper to protect children
Cons
  • I'll write later

We used them 5 minutes after delivery and the girls did a really great job cutting the paper. They have a little plastic needle that you flip over to hold open to make cutting easier, and it really works. This might work a little too well as they require decent arm strength to fully close. My girls are…

I thought those were just for cutting paper?

My twins are four years old now and I am teaching them some skills that they will need when they start school. I realized they should be able to use scissors so I looked here for safe scissors to teach them how to cut paper. I was thrilled when I found these paper cutting scissors and ordered two packs for my twins. Designed for ages three and up, these preschool scissors include safety features such as safety blades and blunt tips, to ensure the safety of the children. learning how to cut…
