Paper cutters for making counterfeit stamps

The Fiskars Contemporary Paper Edgers Scissors Set (12-93017897) includes two cutters for making counterfeit stamps: a die cutter and a mini cutter. Good quality scissors cut thick paper well and that's all I need. I've read some negative reviews and agree that these scissors don't work well on other media, but the product is called Paper Edgers and they do a good job.

Samples are too small! Shreds paper

This is disappointing. from Fiskars no less! The pattern on the scissors is too small to make a pretty design. The edges of the paper look frayed instead of neatly trimmed. I ended up using regular scissors and got a much cleaner look. Perhaps they are intended for media other than paper because they are pointless to use when trying to create a special look with paper frames/mats etc. I am planning to request a refund.

  • A little change

I was hesitant to buy edgers based on the reviews but of course I'm a risk received. One reason for this is the Fiskars lifetime guarantee on its products. I have found that when using these edgers they cannot be expected to cut like regular fabric or paper scissors. They're more like punches. Alignment is important. Also cut into small portions at a time. The smaller the scope, the cleaner and easier to use. Practice on unused paper. The thinner the paper, the better. Consider using a small…

Feel cheap: Cutting tools

I was starting to get a bit disappointed with the quality of the Fiskars. These scissors look cheap. The teeth don't match very well, and unless you cut a piece of cardboard very slowly, it will stick to you. He's just not feeling well. It also feels cheap, so if you cut something thicker it looks like the plastic handles are about to snap. The scissors were also sealed with real very sticky tape which left huge marks on the blades. Even with alcohol it didn't come off completely and it's still

Running around the house with that in hand.

I often walked around the house with them and looked closely at what they would cut out. They won't cut thin paper like tissue paper or thicker materials like foam or corrugated cardboard. They cut thick paper, thin cardboard and other thicker paper well. Copier paper and business cards worked great too. The handles are perfect for adult hands. I don't do scrapbooking, but now I see how addictive it can be. I bought this set to make jewelry postcards. The cards look very nice when you touch the

Designed for kids! to Cutting Tools

I would like to know why scissors manufacturers can make strong and durable saw shears for ADULTS, but they can't make scissors with deckle edge of the same quality for ADULTS? These scissors are for KIDS! I have pretty small hands and my fingers actually got stuck in the finger holes. Don't manufacturers realize how many craftsmen around the world are looking for quality deckle shears? These scissors have a hard time cutting regular 20lb copy paper, let alone heavier card stock! Fiskars used…
