🔶 Fiskars 8-inch Softgrip Pinking Scissors in Orange, 9.5 inches long Review

I've struggled with my mom's clippers for decades! It's so nice to have an inexpensive pair that work great and are easy to trim. I love them, I use them a lot as I fix all my clothes.

This worked fine on my last project. They are harder/slower to use compared to regular scissors but I have not used any other pink bladed scissors so I have no comparison. I wanted to make cotton beeswax bandages and heard that pinking is important to prevent wear. I would recommend a youtube video on how to use them properly as they don't work like regular scissors. Also, don't use them on paper or they'll dull and who knows how you'd sharpen them.

I use these scissors to cut out masks but it's not easy with these scissors. They are extremely tough. I cut 2 layers of fabric and it takes 3 times longer to cut 1 mask than regular scissors. I was having cramps after only cutting 2 or 3 masks before needing to rest my hand. I hope they will loosen up a bit after prolonged use. But not yet. Fiskar is generally a good brand but I've had two bad pairs of them in the last year. I'm not sure I'll make that mistake a third time.
