I can see behind me again!

Delivered promptly. These replacement parts fill the need for side mirrors that do not fold over the side of a truck at speeds in excess of 40 km/h. Keep the original screws to attach the new mirrors. The ones that come with the new mirrors are undersized, as other reviewers point out.

Not exactly OEM, but close enough. really was.

Not exactly OEM but close enough. There have been very few issues with replacing the OEM flex mirrors on the '87 Ford Ranger XLT. The self-tapping screws that came with the unit are NOT original and you will need to reuse the old screws to install the door thread inserts. This unit lacks the OEM adjustment range, but it works.

Fits Ranger '89

These mirrors give a good view to the rear and I love that I don't have to attach small round fisheye mirrors to see the big picture. They work great "as is". I wish they could be tightened easily so they don't get knocked off and misaligned. To tighten the set screw, you must remove the entire mirror from the truck. It's good value for money and I doubt more expensive mirrors will do any good.

Good replacement mirrors for Ford

I ordered driver and passenger mirrors for my 1987 Ford Ranger. After receiving and inspecting the mirrors, I found that they are cheaper than I thought they would be. They just seem cheap and I had to send the passenger side mirror back to Revain as the bracket was completely detached from the mirror and the way they are made you can't put it back on as the nut is stuck in the mirror. Revain customer service understood the issue and sent me a replacement mirror and paid for two days shipping…

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Low price. Buying new from Revain is probably cheaper than buying junk from a landfill. In fact, they look 99% identical to Ford OEM originals. One slight difference I found is that the pivot point is on the front edge of the mounting base while the original mirrors are opposite. These are better because the mirror is farther from the driver. That's a good thing, too, because Ford moved the mirrors too far from the door from the start. I would give them 5 stars but the manufacturer packs them…
