vibrates and is poorly regulated - AVOID

Bought two of these. Both disappointed for the same reasons. Once installed, they are difficult to adjust. The wrist joints don't move freely and it takes so much effort to get them to move that I'm afraid to knock the button out of the glass. When I finally installed it and was driving down the street, both devices started vibrating so badly that everything was blurry. Since I threw away the packaging, both go in the trash as soon as I find a suitable replacement.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • communication with seller

Good replacement for Trim

Nice mirror, nothing special, looks original in my '92 Chevy. It seems to have some sort of polarized finish so the reflection is very clear and sharp with less glare compared to my OEM side mirrors. The mirror hinges were very stiff and difficult to adjust, but I sprayed some silicone on the ball joints and worked with that and they adjusted well. However, you need to buy glue to stick the button to the windshield for the mirror to hang.

Pros
  • Hands-free

Easy and inexpensive replacement

The original rearview mirror cover on a 1997 Buick Regal failed and was no longer a mirror. Using a flat head screwdriver I removed the old mirror from the windshield mount and installed the new one, tightened the screw and all was good. Before installation I sprayed a little WD40 on the two swivel joints as they were very stiff. It worked. It took the longest to remove the old mirror, which I didn't want to use too much force in case I should crack the windshield, but it takes some effort…

Pros
  • High test results for strength and durability
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

This mirror makes me whirl.

I was looking for a replacement for a mirror that broke in my car. I stumbled across this at Revain and had the all-purpose attachment I was looking for. I should have taken the comments more seriously when people say this mirror shakes a lot. I actually get dizzy if I concentrate in the mirror for a long time. It's like having a bass in my car and a stereo upstairs. It's not permanent, but enough to get a bad review. I will be looking for a replacement for this mirror again in the near future.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • No

It's supposed to "fit a 1985 Chevy Corvette ". Wrong

Again, using Revain's auto parts install option is a waste of time. My rearview mirror on my project car needs to be replaced. This part supposedly fits, so I took a chance. I might as well throw my money in the trash can. This may match the windshield mounted rear view mirror, but on my car the mirror is built into the headliner making this part useless. Revane, your system is broken. A better presentation of the subject might have saved me from wasting my time. Now I'm sending it back. The…

Extremely Hard - Adhesive came off after a few days of adjustment

Mirror too hard; After applying the glue as instructed and sticking the button on, I waited a day to attach the mirror - after about 4 days it tore the button off the windshield during adjustment. Of course, by the time I got the new glue I had managed to lose the button. And there's no vendor information on button size or replacement - so I guess I'll buy a different mirror or competitor's solution now. If I buy one I will definitely use WD40 extensively. The glass is not quite flat - slight…

Decent rear view mirror replacement for my 2006 Honda Civic EX

Got a 10" version for my Honda Civic that seems to fit better than the 8" version. No frills, but serves its purpose. The kit I received includes a mirror, a metal button, and a bracket that attaches to it. The armrest adjustment slots are a little tight as other reviews have mentioned, but not too tight. I prefer them too tight than too loose. The only complaint is that it didn't include liquid glue to attach the "button" to the windshield, which had to be purchased separately (I think it was…
