Works great on my Craftsman mower with Honda GV160 engine (plastic gas bottle). This part has a rubber spark plug boot as shown in the picture. I originally used a cheap ignition coil with a one piece plastic spark plug boot and it didn't work as well as this one.

. I ordered it specifically for my engine, it was stated to be a replacement. It's not like this. After too many hours trying to get this stupid thing to work I gave up. Bought locally, paid too much but it worked the first time. I should be compensated for wasted time and effort.

This works on my Honda engined Yardman. However, the power transmission line to the spark plug was shorter than my original. Its deviation is about 1 inch. It doesn't seem like much, but I don't know how tight the wire is. Couldn't return as it's been used on a lawn mower not that I've tried. I just really had to mow the yard and get done.

I think the one I got was a complete failure. The machine was used for about 3 hours immediately after installation and then again for an hour about a week ago. Now the device does not start. It seems to have a very weak spark when the spark plug is moved to the ground point. I ordered another one and it turned up smelling of petrol. I think this one was needed
