I particularly appreciated this product with the start number switches. I love that I don't have to worry about pinning something. I wish I had chosen big bottles because they don't hold as much liquid as is required for long distances. Maybe for 10k. for half a mari I need more. I'm a water racing snob so drinking at water stops is less appealing.

Bought this as a gift for my mum who became an avid marathon runner last year. She loves it! The fact that it holds two water bottles and has a switch for your room is very convenient. At first I thought that the water bottles are not very big, but then I realized that this amount is quite enough for a marathon run. I am not a serious runner and have very little experience with running apparel; However, I give credit to this hydration belt for helping me run my first and last marathon. I was able to drink between the water stations and could store my iphone 5 and 3 other gu packs in the center pocket. Ergonomics for was very comfortable. I have to start with this belt, it's amazing. Perfect non-slip fit at waist that won't be pushed off by hands. This is great for 5k, 10k and maybe 15k depending on how fast you run.
