uncomfortable but it shouldn't be

I always have wrist problems (need to stop watching TV on my phone in bed). This keeps my wrist/hand in the position it should be. My arm cramps the first few times I put it on. I started to feel positive effects after a few days. Velcro straps are very long, so they have to be shortened. I really appreciate how much better I feel after wearing it.

Pros
  • great for me

Requires for my right hand/wrist/hand

I have very severe tendonitis in both limbs and this is the only way I can recover (ice helps) and use these braces to help you get these parts dont move. The velcro is long but can be shortened. I'd rather have too many Velcro straps than not enough. This brand is a lot cheaper than others I've looked at and looks almost like the left one my doctor gave me years ago.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

Well made, must adapt to your hand.

This brace is affordable and supports my wrist and thumb. Pros: Raises the thumb. Cons: I had to remove one of the metal supports as it was putting pressure in the wrong place and making my injury more painful. I had to pad the Velcro around my thumb to increase thumb support. With these settings, the orthosis fulfills its task.

The perfect orthosis for wrist pain!

This really helped my wife who had severe pain in her right wrist. We have a 7 month old little girl so apparently it's normal for moms. In any case, nothing helped against the pain, not even painkillers. We got this on the recommendation of my cousin (he is a spine surgeon) and she saw an immediate improvement. She wears a corset to sleep and wakes up with instant relief. Luckily Revain had it because Walmart, Walgreens etc. NO! Cool stand!

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works perfectly. You just have to wear it constantly until you feel better.

Works great. You just have to wear it constantly until you feel better. I bought it along with 2 other bracelets, they each had different stabilizing abilities. That was the one I wanted to completely immobilize. I wore a softer bandage to sleep. Discover what you need. Quality braces sold online are now as good as the ones you get at the doctor's office. My wrist, thumb and forearm are completely healed. Then I had to struggle to regain strength and mobility.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

Orthosis causes more pain in case of injuries!

I received this product from De Quervain because of the tendonitis mentioned in the product description. Most parts of the orthosis are soft and very comfortable. But there is a hard knotted suture that presses on the exact spot at the base of the thumb where the tendons are inflamed. Unfortunately, the orthosis (one size) was too big, so I had to cut off a piece. Strap to wear it which meant I was stuck on it and couldn't get it back. So I tried all sorts of things like removing the metal…

Cons

Poor thumb rest, but it has its uses

Just keep it for this purpose - an emergency safety net. Thumb immobilization is poor for this - the one-sided splint is too short and there is only a Velcro strap to secure the thumb with insufficient hook area. use for adjustment. I used glue hook material from the hardware store to enhance it and provide a better grip. I've found a use for it though - I wear it when I'm typing on the keyboard. The fixation of my original clip is so tight that I had to loosen it while typing. The otherwise…

Pros
  • Removable and pliable aluminum palm rest ensures proper fit and support
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good quality, I thought it works fine.

I bought these at different times for my right and left hand to get rid of my thumb and wrist pain from crutches. I think you should be aware of the size to ensure comfort. There isn't much information in the ad, so I'll give some measurements here, hope it helps. fingers 7 inches. The metal thumb rest measures 8" and runs the length of the rest 1/2" from the end of the thumb. It is 3/4" wide and can be bent to shape your hand, yet strong. The center brace (wrist/carpal tunnel) extends to the…
