The remote control function is NOT working

The remote control function of the buttons is NOT working. Don't pay too much and just buy a Valey Key. These remote controls are useless. It will also cost you to program the key to be able to start the car, this can only be done at the dealership or with a high-end flatbed scanner. And even after that, you still can't use the remote function. Very dissatisfied with my purchase as it is NOT as advertised. Either mine are defective or I was misled. I'm both a certified mechanic and I know what…

WARNING DO NOT BUY A GOOD ONE FOR REMOTE START

I bought these keys thinking what the heck they have good reviews. But I don't know if these products are Revain QC or something, but I'm a locksmith, a locksmith with 10 years experience and I've been carving keys and making car keys for nine years. Program. Warning I suggest you look elsewhere. Total waste of money if I don't get my money back. I programmed these buttons using a T-code programmer with advanced diagnostics. On a 2009 deal and it didn't work. I've tried programming several…

Work great! - anti-theft device

Most car key shops don't work with them - you had to buy them for >$50 each. I was surprised when the dealer said there was no problem whether they worked or not, the program costs $80. During programming they decided to make the 2nd free! - I have cut and programmed and they work great on my 2013 CRV. They work just like the original. Very good deal. ***Edit*** Almost two years later I was trying to start the car and the plastic part of the key broke and fell apart! It hurt to pull the…

I hope useful information for buyers

Charms are excellent! I bought my used 2011 and it only came with one key so I definitely needed extras. My husband was able to program it to lock/unlock/trunk/with an existing car key bambam boom easy just watch the youtube video and you're good to go. What we didn't know is that the key fob itself (standard on Honda) has a chip that needs to be programmed by someone with the skills and software or the key won't start the car. We found a lock shop near us that made the key for $18 per key and…

Fits my 2010 Honda CRV

I have had a Honda CRV for 10 years. My key fob got dusty this week and the keyhole in the driver's door stopped working about a year ago. My key fob stopped working because the metal pin/arms fell off where the battery is. If your key fob has stopped working, check that all of the metal pins are intact. If you have hands you could probably re-solder them. I removed the circuit board from my old key fob and put it in the new one. The rubber surrounding the chipboard didn't quite match this new…
