My husband was able to program it to lock/unlock/trunk/with an existing car key bambam boom easy just watch the youtube video and you're good to go. I have had a Honda CRV for 10 years. My key fob got dusty this week and the keyhole in the driver's door stopped working about a year ago. My key fob stopped working because the metal pin/arms fell off where the battery is. If your key fob has stopped working, check that all of the metal pins are intact.
