Good product.: Boating & Sailing

I bought these to replace the factory headlights on my 1975 Sea Ray Flybridge. I think they are an amazing product. The quality is excellent and they are very bright.

You can't go to a ship hardware store or even come close

I was very pleased to receive these new LED deck lights for our boat restoration project. With a limited budget we will take the chance and connect them, see how they behave. They look like an expensive brand.

Cheap = failure good for rowing

Looks ok, quality and light output is good but the switch looks very cheap and switches usually cause problems with sea lights. Almost every faucet I've replaced on my boat has resulted from a faulty switch. I'll look around for another brand.

Questionable wiring.

Bought 2 of the 6 inch boat mount models. When I opened it, I noticed that the positive pole was damaged. I'm an ABYC electrical engineer so I would have just heat shrinked this damage but then the negative wire came loose from the switch. The photo shows corrosion on the switching output. I'm not sure if this block has been installed before, but I just can't install it in a marine environment. I sent these headlights back.
