Won't last long!: Boating and Sailing

Worked once and broken. Doesn't hold my lid. My hinges are broken too. I would suggest switching to a gas shock absorber.

The part is incorrectly described in the data sheet

There is no restricting steel cable in the spring to prevent the sunroof from extending too far. You should fix it in the description.

Works exactly as described, highly recommend

I used this for the fuel hatch on my sailboat. After it suddenly snapped shut on my big toe, I figured I needed something to hold it open. I was skeptical at first, but after installing it, it works exactly as described. He holds it open, and then to close it I just bend it slightly. Easy installation and full effect, no more broken fingers.
