Worth upgrading if you're still rocking what came with your bike.

My 2012 Bianchi hasn't had much love over the years as I didn't have to commute to work and workout on weekends. With COVID all my gear was updated and the seat and tires were the first things I wanted to update. I've done quite a bit of research "online" which seemed like a great entry level. My rides are quick from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours so I haven't made it half a day but no problems so far.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Protection

Just go to a bike shop to test the saddles!

Not for me doesn't mean not for you! Only 3/5 v. Chr It didn't work for me but the return was painless and the physique was solid. It was good quality, although I really don't like the rail design and the way Fizik designs the curved rail below, it's not a flat rail so doesn't fit fantastically into the seat tube clamp. I found it a bit stiff and not suitable for me hence it caused pain in the sit bones and Premium. I thought it was a bit short and more painful than my original saddle…

Comfortable seat on a road bike!

I am new to road cycling having ridden mountain biking my entire life. 5'2 120 lbs. The seat that came with this bike damaged my VJ so badly after a short 1.5 mile ride around the lake that I immediately tried several other cut out saddles. I don't have a lot of experience with road bike saddles, but I was compelled to write a review just because it's such a relief to find a saddle that works! I have the 150cm and just took it on a 2 hour ride wearing only yoga tights and I don't feel any pain…

This saddle seems more suited to riding upright

Tried it on my road bike and wanted to like it but the cushioning is too firm and hard on the edges. It was terrible on my road bike for any ride from 30 minutes to an hour. Maybe I chose the wrong saddle for my purposes. I'm looking for a seat cover to try again. On my mountain bike, the back of the saddle is much more comfortable when sitting upright and the camber is good for bumpy roads. It's well built, flexes well over bumps but be aware that it's tight around the edges and the neckline…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Hmm the comfort could be better

I was hoping this would be a good road saddle that would last for long rides after seeing a lot of positive reviews but this was a disappointment. While the padding on the back of the saddle is decent and offers enough support for 20-40 mile rides, there is no relief channel in the front and center areas. Over a dozen rides on it, I had some numbness in loose parts thanks to the spartan padding and stiffness, and playing with a leaned and/or fore/aft position didn't fix it. I would not…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works well for me for parts and components

Your mileage may vary. I had multiple seats on my Devinci Hatchet. The original was too hard and I replaced it with another one that was much softer but didn't have a ribbed channel. After buying a mountain bike with a relief channel seat, I decided to try it on my gravel bike. As far as I could tell, the only difference between the other saddles in the series was the weight, and since I'm not a weight fanatic, I chose the cheapest one. After a few short rides to get into the right position, I…
