Fantastic fit, great stiffness

So I bought these to finally switch to a cycling shoe for my road bike and I've loved every moment. I had to buy Shimano SM-SH41 SPD cleat adapters because I use SPD pedals, but they work great in combination. I've driven about 200 miles since I got them and no problems so far!

Pros
  • Perfect fit for me
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

Great shoes

These impressed me for many reasons. They are light. You breathe well. They have carbon-injected soles that provide the necessary rigidity. The Boa closure is of great importance. I was concerned that the cable might break but after several hundred kilometers of use I doubt it. They look very tight but they aren't. I just want them to make regular shoes. giggle

Pros
  • Easy to put on
Cons
  • Empty

Returned the shoe --- the tongue stuck in my ankle

I ended up returning these shoes The tongue of the boot stuck in my leg just above the ankle. That's what I expect from cycling shoes and I accept the break-in period. But it was extreme digging and squeezing as the closure just below the ankle pushed the tongue into the ankle. Didn't see them work for me so I returned them.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons

Nice shoes for narrow feet.

Well-made shoes. I have narrow feet (width B). They felt good as soon as I put them on. The BOA closer closes things well. The toe box is slightly wider to avoid pinching your toes. The sole feels stiff enough for my riding style (less than 100 miles per week in a couple of sessions). The only downside is that the rear sole isn't interchangeable, which is common for shoes in this price range. Delivery was quick.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost never

Nice pair of shoes, the fit was very very uncomfortable with some parts of the shoe digging into my foot. I sent them back, too bad I not only had to pay for shipping but also for restocking for something I had no control over. I would recommend looking for these shoes in a place where you don't have to pay for poor quality. It just so happened that the Physicist is a top product because. I have several products from them. This one didn't live up to expectations, again a shame it cost me.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons

Fit good, well made, wish I had bought the black one

Very happy with it. They replace a 10 year old set of full carbon CAT 1 shoes that I loved before they fell apart. They are lighter and make a pretty well-made impression. Maybe not as reliable as my old CAT-1s, but we'll see in time. The fit is very good, a twist adjustment makes it easy to put on and take off. Although the outsole isn't full carbon, they're stiff enough for all but the most die-hard pro riders. Unfortunately they were my size only in white and they are white. What can I say…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
