This hub works well with my MacBook Pro. one card slot each - some of these additional ports may not be needed. What can I say, this hub looked really cool at first glance. However, there are tradeoffs. Firstly the ports you get when you connect this hub. (C) to connect it. So you actually lose 1 USB 3.1 (C) port, which is actually the most important port on my laptop. My friend needed this for his MacBook. He likes it because now he doesn't have to think about another laptop brand. It's not very clear in my pictures, but this little tool labels all the ports that are there: 4K (HDMI I think), USB 3.0 (regular USB), USB 3.1 (USB-C), Micro SD and SD. I think it's very convenient. It's a small and compact tool that easily fits in a laptop bag or purse. It also works very well. The only thing my friend and I would like to add is a Lightning cable conversion port

I use this hub for my MacBook Pro: this slim hub offers extra ports if you don't have one. However, only one of the additional ports/slots can be used at a time. Bought to use on a Macbook Pro and overall worked very well. The size is good, if a little thick; However, it fits in well. So if you keep your laptop on a table, everything is fine. As for connectivity; everything seems beautiful; The HDMI output works fine, but you might want to test your monitor. . USB-C is great and definitely the future, but while I still use USB-A devices, this hub helps bridge the gap. The hub has a USB-C port on the outside, so you can still use a USB-C device there, but it occupies 2 USB-C slots on your computer. I mainly use it for a memory card reader that works well. It has the usual slow SD card reader as well as a micro SD card slot. I'm concerned about plugging and unplugging on my computer as the outer plastic is flimsy and a bit difficult to align quickly.
