Great sense of security when driving on country roads.

I've been using Flat Attack for a few years now and have never had a piercing. When I went over a piece of wood that had a small nail sticking out, it sealed the hole as soon as the nail came out, but if left in it would still hold air.

Pros
  • Good Stuff
Cons
  • Only available in white

Recommended: Tires and Tubes

Highly recommended by the bike shop while wintering in Yuma, Arizona so we bought it. More expensive than Slime, but supposedly better. UPDATE: Seems to seal small holes better than Slime (which I have in another bike's tires). Of course, holes, hole patterns and tubing vary, so take that with a grain of salt.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Negative Present

I love this stuff in latex tubes

I really like this stuff in latex tubes. I've used it with Challenge latex tubes in Challenge Gravel Racer tires and have had good luck. I've had a few instances where I've lost some air while riding but haven't sagged. Later I inflated the tires on a tubeless rim and found 4 punctures in the tires. anything that entered the original latex tubes and was sealed by Flat Attack.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No instructions

Limited to cycling

Easy to install if you read the instructions and take your time. We had 2 apartments which were too many for the sealer to seal. The green sealant popped out and clogged the bike's saddlebags, and in either case didn't seal the punctures enough to hold any remaining air, let alone be able to refill with additional pressure. Also, the bottles were in the box when I received them and the foil seal was slightly broken with the included stem removal tool under the cap and some of the sealant leaked

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Fairly good

No amount of sealant will seal a nicked hose or a hose with a bad valve.

Flat Attack is way better than Slime! I've put 5,000 miles on Flat Attack tubes, through the sticker and all. Eventually the outer tube wore out and foolishly I used a screwdriver to remove the tube and puncture it. I ended up buying easy-to-find slime-filled tubes and new outer tubes, and within a week I had two slime flats. If you cut the hose or there is a problem with the valve, no amount of sealant will keep the hose inflated. .This large bottle has everything you need to put the sealant…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
