This leash proved to be a major disappointment in my pet supplies collection. As my tests showed, the retractable mechanism is not as sturdy as advertised, leading to frequent tangling and ultimately giving in to my cat's tugging. The colorful appearance is a plus, but it's not worth the risk of a pet escaping due to a malfunctioning lead. Overall, I would not recommend this product.

We have a 62 lb Shepherd Pit Bull mix. She's a strong girl. This leash is the best we have to keep her under control. This is our third flexi hooklink and it's worth every penny. The rest is like Cadillacs.

Our last Flexi since 2005! It still works fine. We replaced it for two reasons: 1. Our new 5 month old pup is quite boisterous and often forgets he is on the leash and runs at full speed to the end of the leash. We really appreciate that little flex at the elastic end. 2.
