Great idea with simple collars

Ideal for Florida gardening. I went outside with a kitchen towel and an ice pack strapped around my neck, which worked but was very inconvenient. Thats much better.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Protection

Awesome Cooking Neck Bandage

This is a great way to keep cool on a hot summer day, especially when working on the lawn. This material extends the life of the ice while providing excellent coolness. The materials feel like they will last.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

I've had it for over a year and my only complaint is

I've had it for over a year and use it for 45 minute walks. By the end of the walk he had almost melted, but he was still cold. I had no problems with ice strips. The only thing I really REALLY don't like is that the brand name is so prominent on the thing - I wear it sometimes when I go shopping in the summer - it looks gaudy to be a walking advertisement. I will probably buy another brand because the logo is so big and impossible to remove.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Perfect for my French!

Too many choking dogs here and I'm scared of them. My dog doesn't do well in the heat (understandably), but we have upcoming events he can come to this summer, so I found the cool bandana concept! The one I wanted sold out so I jumped at the chance to try a human size and it's beautiful! I would say if your dog's neck is less thick than the Frenchman's I would bring clamps to keep him steady. We've tried ice cubes instead of reusable gel packs and they work just as well.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

It works best in plain collars

I thought yes ice collar sounds great! Well, it seems to work, but after a short while it loses its cool. It was supposed to be gel, not water, but I digress. Wanted to return but decided to experiment. Since you don't really feel much of the coolness around your neck unless you put it so tight around your neck that you choke on it, I decided to use it as a headband. Cold contact with the skin is much better than on the neck. It looks a little silly, but at least I'm cool looking silly.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly torn

You need a bigger neck.

I ordered it to help against hot flashes. In theory, this should help, but it doesn't. First, while I'm not a petite woman (5'8, size 18), this thing is *too* big - even at the smallest size - for my neck. Second, even when pressed against the skin for maximum cooling, it doesn't do much. I don't know if it's because it's too thick for ice packs to do their job effectively or if the ice packs are too negligible, but in my experience this thing is useless and I regret spending money on it spent.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

Be careful with velcro. for dogs

Cools well. You will need additional ice cube bags to replace them. The presence of large letters of the company's website on the back is disgusting. Pay attention to the velcro. This is dangerous. Ice pack closure is ok. The clasp around the neck is dangerous. There is only one way to safely remove the film. If you forget to remove it in this way, it will grab your hair, which is very difficult to maintain without causing pain and serious damage to the hair. In general, bandanas filled with…
