Unbelievable! best in moldings and decking

I am restoring a 22 foot boat with a wood windshield. I couldn't find the original rubber grommet to hold the window in place and complete the "look" and I was afraid to make a new teak frame. It would probably take forever and I wouldn't function well or look right. Then I found this product and the problem was solved. It is malleable under a heat gun, the warmer the more flexible even for tight curves. It is easy to work with, strong and stiff in place. I couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Can be installed with standard woodworking tools, comes in tan

Great where the curves are needed

Just installed a wooden floor and needed a strip to cover the junction between the stairs and the floor. The Pine FlexTrim did what wood trim failed and was able to wrap the end of the radius landing. Using gel paint and attaching with adhesive caulk and a 23-ga nail gun, it installed in minutes and looks just like the rest of Mine's pine trim, grain and all other. Quite expensive compared to wood moldings but it was the only way to finish my flooring job. First time using this product - will…

Cons
  • Expandable

We are very pleased to have this product have found. were trying to finish a new floor we were installing in a 1930's house with custom wall angles. Our wooden quarter circle couldn't follow the curve, so we experimented with different surfaces. We were able to ditch those fillers and use this simple, flexible quarter circle instead. I was able to cut it with kitchen scissors and after painting it looks great. I wish it was a bit wider to more easily fill in the gaps between the tile and the…

Epoxy for setting, shellac for painting

I had my doubts but as I couldn't bend a piece of wood (tried steam, tried lamination ) around my brick hearth, I decided to try this material. It was flexible as advertised, especially when I warmed it up (I laid it out on a black rug in the sun for a few minutes). I didn't manage to glue it with PL Loctite Premium - there wasn't a strong hold and basically no way to clamp it. One spot that could be clamped, however, glued together perfectly. For me it was better to use epoxy - it took me 5…
