Not USA, not so flexible.

Not made in the USA. Please update your photo or add a disclaimer in the description stating the cable is now made in Taiwan. I bought this cable locally after buying it and found only Chinese ones. This one said made in the USA. I gave it 2 stars because it seems to be of decent quality and the green is clearly visible. It's not as flexible as I expected (my old US made 10 gauge yellow jacket cable is more flexible than this).

Pros
  • Easy to read front panel
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Doesn't deserve the name "Flexzilla ".

This product doesn't deserve the "Flexzilla" name. I expect such a product to outperform other products in this category, or at least do as well. It's not like this. It's well constructed, but offers only the typical flexibility in temperatures above freezing and cures quickly below freezing. In sub-zero temperatures (<-18°C) it is stiff enough to be unwieldy for portable applications. So, good cable, but it's not Flexzilla.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons

Do not buy! Not as flexible and pliable as you would expect if using Flexzilla air hoses. I expected them to curl up and lie very flat, but they didn't. Actually on the stiffer side compared to other lines I own. I ordered 10/3 and 12/3 lines for work and played them in direct sunlight on a warm day and they still didn't lay flat. I just paid too much for lower quality cables than I had! Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Refrigerated goods
Cons
  • Small parts

Inflexible Best Extensions

I overpaid for this extension thinking it was flexible. No, that is not so. This thing is pretty tough at 90*F. How will it be in sub-zero temperatures? I could probably use it to scrape the ice off my roof. Don't buy this thinking it's a boring expansion, it's just another cheap chin-na crap. I will no longer buy Flexzilla products. I have some old air hoses and they are great but not anymore. I hope it was worth the 3 cents you saved by outsourcing production to Chin-na, Flexzilla.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Flamboyant

Stiffzilla not Flexzilla

I purchased Flexizilla air hoses and was very happy with the purchase. This purchase doesn't match their name at all. The vinyl plastic (SJTW) extension is not as flexible as the (SJEOW) or (SJEOW TPE) extension. When using an extension cord to connect hand tools, it is very important that the extension cord lies flat on the floor to avoid tripping. This line, like any other SJTW line, is stiff, does not lie flat and is more pronounced in cold weather. It is classified as a premium rubber cord,

Not as flexible as the name suggests

I have a Flexzilla air hose and love it. It's strong, rolls easily because it's flexible, and stays flexible even in sub-zero temperatures. That's why I bought the Flexzilla cable. I need a cable that stays flexible in the garage at low temperatures. I put this in the freezer along with the blue string I bought years ago. When I pulled it out it wasn't as flexible as the other brand. It wasn't as bad as my cables, which don't advertise sub-zero flexibility, but still not as good as I was…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not a good cord for cold weather. I bought 4 of them because of their hose. I bought their hose and it's really flexible in sub-zero temperatures. At first I only needed to buy one cable, but I was so impressed that I bought four of them. They're no better than the so-called extreme cold blue cables that Home Depot and Lowe's sell, except they're more expensive. If you really need a negative wire, you need to buy US Wire Extreme Red and Blue wires. I should have just gone with what I know…

Pros
  • Shipped very quickly
Cons
  • Fading
