Description of ⚡ Enhance Electrical Troubleshooting with FLIR TA55 Current Line Splitter

Provides easy and safe measurements of current and voltage from two or three wire outlets. Plugging the power connector into the line splitter separates the hot/live conductor from the neutral (and ground) for accurate current measurement. Dual ranges (x1 and x10) for higher resolution on low-amperage readings. Built-in recessed voltage testing inputs.

Ideal for measuring generator or UPS power

Does exactly what I need. I can check and monitor voltage and current with a meter like the 3000FC. Ideal for measuring the output power of a generator or UPS.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Only for devices up to 1875 watts

This is an ideal device for anyone who finds it difficult to read the voltage in a childproof socket. Plug this in and you can both read the voltage and get accurate ampere readings on the device during use.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

too expensive for what it is.

I bought a splitter from FLIR thinking the brand and price were right for the quality but that was a mistake. Honestly it works and does what it's supposed to do, no problem. But my problem is that on the socket the metal contact is recessed too deep and has very little contact with the plugs. This is very inconvenient, because at the slightest movement the plug will shift and fall out. This makes the measurement a bit more difficult as you have to keep the connector in the splitter. I've read…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old
