This thing is AMAZING. We had silver items that literally turned black after the flood and sat unattended for 9 months. With very little effort (and not without), they became shiny again. It worked better than any silver polish I've ever used.

I never heard of this until I had a feed ramp on my gun that had tool marks on it. Combining a felt pad and a rotary tool did the trick in just a few minutes. Since then I've been using it for all kinds of metal parts. It appears to be very slightly abrasive but not aggressive enough to remove large amounts of material. It is ideal for work where your part only needs to be polished.

I don't really understand the hype surrounding this product. I originally bought this to buff out a few scratches on my car. So I watched a lot of videos on how to use it and even bought a polishing ball to attach to my cordless drill. You have to work in small areas or you'll get haze. After much time and effort I was very disappointed with the results. I saw minimal difference in the scratches and had to go back and redo a few spots. I would not buy it again for this purpose.

I bought this because someone on YouTube recommended it for polishing resin jewelry. Basically it messed up mine. Instead of giving it a clear glass finish, it did the exact opposite - made the surface cloudy and matte, and now it's just useless. :( I think my bad review should be more for the person who recommended it than for the product itself as the product doesn't specifically say it's for resin but I just wanted to post this for anyone who might be due came here on this recommendation…

If you are looking for a jewelry cleaner that can remove tarnish from silver, also use caution on plated jewelry. As well as a cleaner that can be easily wiped off without basic settings or a few movements. Then the time has come. I have used it on a 925 Sterling Silver Figure Necklace, a 925 Sterling Silver Rope and a 14k Plated 925 Sterling Silver Chain and it has worked great on both. This product works GREAT! I used it to polish the reload dies, some of the tool heads and feed ramps on my Sig 1911. The guides on the pistol were highly polished from the factory, but they have faded after a long period of use. I've used this stuff on my guns and knife blades for decades. Works great on grease, dirt and surface rust. Leaves a protective mirror finish.
