Great Product: Car Care

I don't know of any other polish, especially bullet brass, that works the same way. I use a range of Flitz products and they are my staple for many purposes.

Very good polish.

Made from crushed walnuts, this additive polishes brass cartridge cases to a very bright and smooth finish. I'm on my third bottle of this stuff as I've switched out the walnut crushing medium I've been using several times over the past six months. Very good product.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons

Great product BUT. for car detailing

Yes, as everyone says, it's AMAZING. I use it with walnut and in 1 hour or less the brass is ready for sunglasses :) The problem is the overpriced Amz. Somehow the price per gallon was better than $100 and then dropped from $25 a pint to $50(!) (do the math yourself). After I bought a gallon the Amz price magically jumped to $150(!) Get it, buy it on sale if you can find it.

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Weight

You can't hit! in Exterior Care

I used to use Flitz Billet Aluminum Cleaner and it did its job well but was so time consuming and hard to find. I've exhausted Brasso and pretty much everything there and the results have been zero. I finally bought a small bottle of this and WOW! It's expensive, but it doesn't take long and does a fantastic job in half the time. Now I use a big bottle and it's expensive too, but it works really great.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

I stack a lot of brass

So my wife and I shoot quite a bit. She is responsible for turning the brass and filling the primers. I have a duty to charge. Over the past 25 years we've tried Dillon, Franklin Arsenal, and various homebrew-recommended blends to achieve bright, pure copper. FLITZ to the rescue. At FLITZ the brass is so shiny I have to wear sunglasses and we canceled my cataract surgery :) Flitz products always seem "shiny" amongst the competition!

Better than another brand I have

I have a brass RCBS cup and use walnut and corn cob filler to clean and polish used brass cases. I have found that the brass becomes much shinier after using the Flitz Tumbler Media. After cleaning about 1000 pieces of 30.06 brass, most of which were quite old and tarnished if not corroded, I bought this product and bought two more bottles. I recommend you try this supplement.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Almost OK

Great addition, worth every penny.

This additive works very well with any type of brass. I use a medium of corn on the cob and walnuts mixed 50/50, then squirt an ounce amount and let sit for 3 hours. 500 9mm cartridges shine like new, 300 .45ACP and so on. I typically process up to 3 batches of brass with an ounce of product. I noticed that the fourth boot is no longer shiny. The price is great! When you combine this with good preparation practice, cleaning primer pockets and using carbide dies, your end product will look andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • minor issues
