Great tip weak bolt

Exhaust tip was exactly what I was looking for and expecting. It fits great and gives you the look you are aiming for. Make sure you have a spare bolt on hand as it will bend and then break when trying to tighten it securely to your car's existing exhaust pipe.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • No mold required

Looks good, short enough for a side exhaust.

The only problem I have is that the screw that comes with the tip isn't strong enough to actually force the metal to bend to clamp the tube. Cuts fairly easily. I bought a larger class 8 screw at a hardware store and it was strong enough to get the job done, although it started to bend.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Weak set

Good advice, cheap adjusting screw! Do not buy!

My first was perfect and in good condition. When I went to install it and started tightening the bolt to fit snugly on the exhaust pipe, the bolt and nut assembly broke immediately. Although the Ops is a defective piece and ordered a replacement. Replacing the block did the same. Looks like the Flowmaster decided to go with a cheap nut and bolt assembly with a good exhaust tip, yes I could go and buy a higher quality nut and bolt assembly but crazy money! Thank you for the Revain return policy.
