Welds are fine, it's a Flowmaster so I expected a good job. But I'm definitely glad I bought it. I'll be buying another one for the other side soon. Sounds awesome with crazy backfire! 🔥

Installed on a 2009 Subaru WRX STI Hatch GRB. Before installing the Flow Masters, I tried four other sets. They were 3″, 2 x 3 1/2″ and 4″ tips and none of them looked quite right. A pair of 4" tips was almost correct, but had a 3/4" gap between each tip which affected the fit and most importantly the look. The Flowmaster tips look and fit the best by far. They fill the space perfectly and give the car an extremely aggressive look. D Anderson

Ordered for my 2011 wrx. I am doing a custom muffler removal and wanted to keep the quad exhaust look that my car came with but with a significant increase in tip size. tips are great! much better than i thought they would be. The chrome looks great and the welds are beautiful. The design also allows air to flow around the tip reducing heat, which I really like as the enlargement brings the tips very close to the bumper.
