Quality silencer

I was looking for a better flow without too much noise. It delivers, it sounds almost standard but a little deeper. If you need quiet work, take this.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • There are nuances

SILENCER IS NOT SUITABLE!

GIVE 1 AMAZON STAR. MUFFLER WILL NOT FIT MY 1972 CHEVY PICKUP C20 350 ENGINES. THE SILENCER SHOP SAID THE SILENCER IS TOO BIG. EXCHANGE SILENCER FOR ANOTHER SILENCER.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Little things

Fits Ford Expedition 08

FLOWMASTER. What else needs to be said, except that it fits perfectly in the stock 2008 Ford Expedition layout - Eddie Bauer Edition (welded); And it sounds great! It didn't improve my gas mileage, but acceleration is better, cruise is easier and torque in the hills is better. I install FlowMasters in all my vehicles and I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Obsolete model

2007 Dakota Exhaust & Emission Fit

I replaced the stock muffler on my 2007 Dodge Dakota with this one. I had to do some cutting and welding on the exhaust after it came out of the muffler, but it works and sounds great. No significant increase in performance, but the sound is definitely better. The only thing I don't like is the loud reverberation in the cockpit around 2000rpm. This is with the resonator removed. If you leave the stock resonator on, it still sounds as quiet as the stock one.

Pros
  • Easy Installation

Exactly what I was looking for

Flowmaster mufflers have been fitted to other vehicles. This time I've opted for a softer sound without forgetting all the benefits. The exhaust sound is exactly what I was looking for. I installed the muffler on a 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew with a 5.4 liter V8 engine. The only time you can hear the exhaust is when you're accelerating, and even then it's not overwhelming. Great exhaust sound!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Sounds like a V8 should

love it. My 2001 Ford f150 5.4 V8 with double cab lariat cabin noise is 2 out of 10 but when you are outside it sounds like a strong V8 should sound. I also immediately noticed a difference in overclocking performance. The 5.4 is an engine that doesn't get enough air, and anything that helps it breathe seems to help. While I expect the overall HP gain to be small, it's still there. If I had to do it again I'd probably reach for the 50 series Flowmaster for a little more growl, but I'm still…

Should have done it from the start

This is my third exhaust on my truck. Truck 05 F150. It originally had a 3" dual 2.5" Magnaflow outlet that changed to a 24" Borla Pro XS body with a 3" dual 2.5" outlet became. Both were pretty loud cruising silences in WOT. I've been towing a lot more and driving trucks lately and I'm sick of the loud noise. Choose something quiet but with some noise. Pick these Flowmasters from the 70's after watching tons of YouTube videos for comparison. Pipe size has been reduced to 2.5" One Inlet and one
