Flowmaster 842453 Delta Muffler 409S Review

Strong resonance in certain RPM ranges, buzzing like it has a loose baffle. Sounds okay in some light-load conditions, but it's a constant struggle not to sound like a rider. Would come back if I could.

I went through the 40 series, Delta 44 and then this Delta 50 before I got the right sound in my Dodge truck. Exactly what I wanted/needed. Not too loud, minimal hum, and only when the MDS is on.

The mufflers were exactly what I was looking for. They sound a bit more aggressive than stock mufflers, but allow my wife and I to have a normal conversation. I almost went with the 40 series, but I read that the hum in the car at 2000 rpm was too loud. I'm glad I went with them.

Excellent mufflers! They sound fantastic on my 08 Charger R/T. Good buzz, slightly above standard but not overpowering like the 40 series. That's exactly what I wanted. However, when I step on the pedal there is a nice roar that lets people know where I am. Pleasant "Flowmaster" sound.

I didn't think a V6 could sound like a V8 just by turning off the muffler. I fucking LOVE the rumble in and out of the cockpit. I restored back pressure, which increased my power and helped reduce fuel consumption. I lost a lot of both taking advantage of a muffler shop who had no idea what they were talking about. I wanted something quiet but now I want it louder, now it's so much fun to drive a truck. I recommend this to Nissan Frontier/Xterra owners with 4.0L.
