Not too impressed with that sound ok installed it on a 1995 Ford Mustang GT, did a full exhaust including header and cold air intake went BBK. Not bad anyway, but if you want a really loud and aggressive growl I recommend some SLP Loudmouth 1 silencers. Didn't notice any HP gain, thought I might have to jump a bit with SLP at lower rpm. Great first muffler or soft muffler for racing cars

Installed on 04 F150 5.4, wasn't as loud as I would like. The sound is excellent low growl, the rumble is not noticeable at any speed. When first installed, barley could be heard on the normal one, since it broke after about a month, the noise got a little louder. I didn't notice any performance gain, I bought it for a little growl. If you want sound I would recommend the 40 series or the Super 10 muffler. If you're replacing OEM rust and want just that little bit more, this is for you.

If you're not looking for something really aggressive then this muffler is for you. I installed it on my v8 5.4 and it sounds very good. Nice buzz but not too loud. If you put it on f150 06 you will need 2 intermediate pipes as the new exhaust is slightly offset from the tailpipe so you will have to remake it. I'm a welder so everything was welded. It took me a while to install it myself on my '97 Expedition 5.4L Ford and after installing it and the first run you could immediately hear the difference! It looks like the truck was meant to sound like this, and it seems the truck has taken on a new life. From 0 to 2000 rpm it sounds like a Super 44, but at highway speeds it's barely noticeable. Unlike most people who buy either Mustangs or trucks, I went for a hatchback. 2 liter 4 cylinder DOHC. At idle the car is not noisy at all. in the cabin it is almost inaudible with the air conditioner turned off and the radio turned off. It's rumbling outside, but nothing terrible. give it some gas. and this thing comes alive. At 2000 rpm I heard it clearly on the radio and the air conditioning.
