Yes. You all heard it and so did I. Flowmaster is Flowmaster is. The Flowmaster is unoriginal and runs its course. Oooooh, probably not! I'm a car enthusiast, but I'm also an exhaust enthusiast and I'm never satisfied. I have owned seven 5.0 Mustangs to date and have always loved the smooth, chambered sound of these cars. I currently have 1.3/4 headers, an OR/H pipe in the new Super 44 and LX stainless tips (yes, on the GT). Thanks to this, the "original” 40 series sounds just great. You will not only hear the characteristic Flowmaster hum, but also distinct muscles when accelerating. More specifically, it's almost half Flowmaster and half double glazing, but it's not both. I highly recommend them if you have a Fox 5.0 case. If you've been replacing your current Flowmaster mufflers for a long time and want something louder (not obnoxious), or thinking about swapping out for chambered mufflers, your search ends here! My experience will help you: 1988 5.0, OR/X with 40s: DECENT, OR/X with Magnapacks: Super, but no characteristic hum, instead of X instead of H (H chambered and X unchambered - remember), H tube with Magnapacks: great and hoarse/hoarse, H with Spintech Pro 9000: awful and deleted after 2 days, H with 40s (back to them as you can see), H+40s+Mac Pro Chamber: decent but quite, NOW: 2 . 5" OR/H, Super 44, LX Rear: Bullseye! To sum it up, if you own a Mustang or a V8 that has (or can have) true twin tailpipes, the Super 44 is dynamite! My brother has a Chrysler 300C 06, Kats, no Super 44 resonators and stock tails and it sounds great you just can't go wrong I hope I gave some instructions as if you're like me and never satisfied with your exhaust note THAT is what you want.
