These are real heavy duty washer hoses. They have an inside diameter of 1/2 inch. They also don't have a 90 degree angle, so you get maximum flow. Cheaper than what they tried to sell you in a big store.

Bought in an open box/second hand from Revain, arrived in perfect condition. This is a hose. It doesn't leak. It's well made, but it's just a hose. It's a brand so I trust quality more than the lack of a well known brand although it may be made in the same factory in Asia. . .

Old hoses: ID = 0.225" OD = 0.490" New hoses: ID = 0.390" OD = 0.625" Buy these - much larger ID old hoses and definitely more water will flow. Washing machine fill times are now significantly faster! The above inside and outside diameters in inches were measured using calipers.

It was advertised that it would speed up water flow due to the 1/2 inside diameter, once I installed these pipes it took longer for my washing machine to fill, not less time . I have a top loading Speed Queen washing machine. With the old hoses it took 12 minutes to reach the mean water level. After installing these hoses, it now takes 15 minutes to fill the washing machine to mid-level. very disappointed as the reason I chose this brand is because they claim it will speed up the flow of water.

I returned a brand new Amana washing machine because it kept giving a LoFo error when washing in a cold delicate wash. Plugged it in to replace the same one. I did a little research as I knew I had a lot of water pressure. I read about these hoses and some reviews, problem solved. Amana could not find a solution. I went to the sales rep, he had never heard of this problem but it's a big problem and I made sure they knew about the solution.

Pretty good product and oddly one of the few on the market. Most braided lines will restrict water flow through standard rubber tubing...but not this one! It's heavier and thicker than regular braided hose, which also makes it less flexible, but this is a trade-off for better water flow. Be mindful of how much space you have between outlets and your washing machine, as they will take up extra space due to less flexibility. Worked great as a 5 year old replacement for my top loading Speed Queen.

Second order of goods from Revain and when the product defect was discovered the returns window was closed. After examining the options for replacing washing machine hoses, this Fluidmaster prevailed. It was professionally installed and was fine at first.
