FLUKE 362 True Rms Clamp Meter Review

Overall a great gauge. A larger display would have helped my eye, but that's me, not the meter. Seems fairly accurate and gives reproducible results. In general very satisfied.

Good gauge, works well for what I need. Look elsewhere for the best leads. Hard plastic insulation. A name like Fluke should have silicone insulated wires, not that junk. They can become more flexible after a few hundred uses, by which time the insulation has most likely fallen apart. 5 star counters, 0 star leads

This is a great counter, it's perfect size for those hard to reach spots. However, this model is not compatible with RMS 365. If you want to use this with DC or AC systems, everything is fine. If you need to test AC electronic circuits, you'll regret not buying the 365.

The resistance reading on my meter is really weird. Very unstable and unreliable at very low (0-2) and very high (1000+) ohms. Also, the AC amp reading jumps 2-3 amps and goes slightly to zero. Not sure what's wrong. I expected more from a fluctuation meter.

Fluke products have always been of the highest quality and this Fluke 362 is perfect for my home use. It's easy to use and accurate. I would definitely recommend this model to someone who does not need current measurement in low current installations. It's small with a clip designed to access tight spots.
