Versatile top and bottom bearing flush trim router bit for challenging woodgrain. Premium C3 micro-grain tungsten carbide blades for a sharper & longer lasting edge. For use on table mount and handheld router. Silver induction brazing for maximum strength and durability.
Arrived as promised. The bearing fell off after 5 minutes. The seller sent me a full refund label. I decided to just leave the camp as the top one. Instead of returning. This is a good piece at a very reasonable price. I was cutting 3/4" MDF when that failed.
For routing 3/4 thick red oak chair legs to pattern. Set up two router tables with two bits purchased. One build should be used with a pattern on the wood and the other with a pattern underneath. An adjustment was needed to avoid cutting the grain which could result in cracking of the wood. The bits worked very well, no problems, right out of the box.
For pre-cutting rounded corners on 3/4 thick Chinese Birch plywood. Upper template, lower finished part. The opposing stem bearing never made contact with the workpiece but instead loosened and came loose during my first cut. Well that sucks but hey. shaft bearing, right? nope Took the cutter off the router only to find the bearing was useless. Sigh. live and learn
