An Impressive Solution for Clearer Water

As a result of my tests I determined that these peat granules are highly effective in improving water clarity in my aquarium. Not only did they help to lower the pH level, but they also provide a natural environment for my fish .The 6 pack is a great VALUE for money, lasting for months. However, the granules tend to float up to the top of the aquarium at times. Overall, this is a must-have for any fish owner looking to improve their aquarium's water quality..

Pros
  • Effectively lowers pH and softens water for fish that prefer an acidic environment
Cons
  • May discolor water, possibly making it difficult to see fish and other aquarium inhabitants clearly

Got what I bought in filter accessories

To buy in a multipack. Make sure you have a nylon bag to put the pellets in before placing them in the filter housing. I just put it in my aquarium a few days ago so I can't comment on how it has affected the aquatic environment. Otherwise I would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Aquarium peat - a completely natural way of acidifying aquarium water
Cons
  • There are nuances
