I was hoping they would work as well as the ones I bought from a nautical store but they pale in comparison. With latex paint they lasted about 12 dives before wrinkling and cracking at the end of the deployment. They lasted about half as long with varnish. The only use I have for them at the moment is wood glue.

As soon as you start patting the foam down or using the brush to push the paint into holes or hard-to-reach places, the foam breaks pretty quickly and you have to change brushes quickly.
